I founded The Ladies Golf Place in 2001. I had been working part time at a golf course pro shop and had been playing golf for just over a year. One afternoon while looking at a women's golf magazine, I thought how nice the clothes were and that I had hardly seen anything like them in the surrounding area. As we ladies know, the golf course pro shops tend to cater a bit more to the gentlemen golfer. Sure, there are a few things in a small corner, but the selections are somewhat limited. I also found this to be the case in the sports stores.

I decided to start my own ladies golf apparel business.

I told the Pro I would like to rent a small room in the pro shop that was not being used at the time. I started there with some shirts, shorts, socks, and a few gift items. It's been four years and now I have merchandise in 8 pro shops. I have a goal of adding more pro shops this year along with launching the web site you're viewing now.

I will have a great selection of golf apparel in the online store and will be adding more new items this Spring, Summer and Fall. I'm sure you will enjoy shopping with me and I'm positive you'll love your new golf apparel and will tell all your friends about The Ladies Golf Place.
